A little while ago, we were speaking to an accountant. He said one of the first things a company shrinks the budget for, or drops completely when a company is in trouble, is their marketing.

You’re going to think we’re biased here (and we are!), but being a business owner who works in marketing to help get more customers… this doesn’t quite make sense…

Of course, marketing is going to spread awareness of what you do, why you’re qualified to do what you do, who you help but don’t forget, all of that helps you get more customers. So why would you want to reduce your chances of getting new business by skimping out on great marketing?

Yes, video marketing can get pricey, we get that, and there has been a dramatic change in budgets these past couple of years. It can get very expensive if not done right.

Here’s where divine.media is different…

We focus on creating a set of KPIs before and think creatively in how we’ll achieve it. If you’re not setting those KPIs, your video marketing campaign is going to be a very expensive moving picture… not a performing marketing tool to get you new business.

Our videos work for businesses because we ask these questions:

> What KPIs determine success?

> Who will be watching?

> Is it part of a wider campaign?

> What will the viewer do/tap/think/feel after watching?

> When will they watch it?

> Where will they watch it?

> In what part of the process will it be featured?

Plan for performance, otherwise, you’re just making a pretty video.
